Pai Mu Dan is a White Tea and consists of the smallest bud and the first two leaves of the new shoot. The open leaf yields a pale orange-yellow liquor with a delicate sweet apricot flavour. Produced at an elevation of 800 to 1200 meters in northern Fuijan, China. The tea is harvested in early April.
Origin - China - Northern Fuijan
Appearance - The leaf is a flat and open leaf and has been dried either in the sun or naturally indoors.
Taste - Delicate and sweet and may be enjoyed in combination with rose petals or dried fruits.
Brew time and temp - Steep for 3 minutes at 85°C.
