Bi Luo Chun - Green Snail Spring

This is a rare tea from the Dongting Mountains and is one of the top ten teas of China.
Grown in the shade of apricot, plum and peach trees, the tea leaves absorb the delicate scent of the fruit blossoms and therefore give the tea its unique flavours. The youngest tea buds and leaves are harvested and rolled into a “snail-shaped" leaves.
It is said that if you are preparing this tea, you should place the tea on top of the water to watch it unfurl, rather than place it in the bottom of the pot.
Origin - Jiangsu Province, China
Appearance - Small snail-like balls.
Taste - A sweet, lightly fragrant tea with a clean, clear finish bursting with apricot notes.
Brew time and temp - Steep for 2 - 3 minutes at 80C.
50 grams will make approx. 25 - 30 cups
100 grams will make approx. 50 - 60 Cups
