Huang Da Cha is a rare and treasured yellow tea from the Huo Shan region in China’s Anhui Province with a history dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644).
It is uniquely characterised by its large leaves and the inclusion of stalks, which enhance the mid-palate sweetness and distinctive roasted aroma. With fragrant notes of coffee, chocolate and roasted rice, and a full, robust palate. Huang Da Cha is often considered to be ‘the coffee of teas’.
